On foot
The value of a familiar route.
A new place offers surprises. A familiar path offers comparisons.

Take the same route at different times and details begin to separate themselves from the background: where the shade falls, which windows reflect the evening light, and how the sound of a street changes after rain.
Choose one thing to notice
On one walk, look for color. On another, listen. The aim is not to collect everything, but to give attention a manageable place to settle.
A short note afterwards can be enough: one detail, one change, one thing you would like to see again. No distance target or elaborate record is needed.
